The Challenge and Doilies 1 and 2

People are always saying to me what do you do with all those doilies!  Well there are Doily curtains, bedspreads, tablecloths, wall hangings, lampshades, need I go on?

I want to create  some of these projects and to help myself to do so I decided to create this challenge.  You are welcome along for the ride, maybe you will decide to challenge yourself, it needn't be 100 doilies, it could be just one, but, I warn you Doily making is addictive!

These two doilies are going to be joint along with others in the same colours to make a tablecloth.  The first doily was from a chart I found on Pinterest. The second doily is a doily by Julia Hart called Solar Brillance, her pattern and website is here.

I know it is February and I have quite a few more to post which I will do over the next few days.  On the whole I hope to do at least two doilies a week.
